Assistant Superintendents

Dr. Lori Burkett serves as Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education and the Director of Federal Programs for Pearl River County School District. Prior to this role, she held positions in the district as a Teacher, Director of the Endeavor Campus, Assistant Principal and Principal at the Middle School, and Principal at the Elementary School. Dr. Burkett earned her BA from Lee University, MM from Cambridge College, and EdS and PhD from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has participated in the Delta Kappa Gamma Women’s Educational Service Organization, the Mississippi Professional Educators Educator Grants Committee, and as a member of the Mississippi Superintendent’s Principal Advisory Council. Dr. Burkett lives with her husband Michael, who is also an educator, and their two puppies in the Hide-A-Way Lake community. She enjoys hiking, reading and ballroom dancing. Dr. Burkett strives to live by her favorite quote from R. W. Emerson, “Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.”

Dr. Stacy Baudoin serves as Assistant Superintendent of the Pearl River County School District. Previously Dr. Baudoin served as high school principal for 9 years. She has worked in education for 22 years serving as a teacher, curriculum director, principal, and director of instruction. Dr. Baudoin earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of New Orleans, a specialist degree and doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from William Carey University. As assistant superintendent, Dr. Baudoin manages curriculum, professional development, MTSS, school improvement, dropout prevention, textbooks, and licensure. She lives in Carriere with her husband Ivy. She has three children: Karissa, Kyra, and Korilyn. She is also the proud grandmother of Liam and Lucas. Dr. Baudoin is passionate about ensuring that all students in Pearl River County receive a quality education in order to be productive citizens in our community.
