Create an ELMS account

If you are have not already created an ELMS (Educator Licensure Management System) account on the MDE website:


1. Go to the ELMS login.
2. Click "Create a New User Account" at the top right corner of the screen.
3. Set up your account by following the directions.

YOU WILL BE THE ONLY PERSON WITH ACCESS TO YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD!


Add CEUs

1. Go to the ELMS login.
2. Enter your User Name and Password.
3. Click "Login To System".
4. Click "Educator" directly below the Educator Licensure Management System.
5. Click "Professional Development".
7. Underneath the CEUs section, click "Add CEU".
8. Enter your information, then click "Submit".
9. All original documents to be used as part of the licensure application review process must be scanned, and then uploaded to your ELMS account as a Portable Document File (PDF). Uploaded images, screenshots, and photographs of documents will not be accepted.
9. Your information should automatically show up in your list of CEUs, and the total number of hours completed should update in the top section of the page.
